With the beginning of the NFL training camps, we will begin the sign-up for this year's contest. It really amazes me as I look back, this contest has grown in participants every year. I want to say a big ‘thank you’ to the Pregame community!
A new twist to this year’s contest, we will have quarterly payout to the top 3 for additional $50 during contest sign-up. The payout will be determined by the # of participants. It is OPTIONAL, I will create separate quarterly tracking sheet for those that chose to participate. You can continue to have multiple entries to the contest without joining the quarterly contest.
Mission Statement & Rules:
1. To deliver a fun and enjoyable DMan Westgate Style Contest 2024 with monetary incentives for the TOP FIVE Finishers.
2. Assume the purse is $9700 as last year: 1st Place=$5500, 2nd Place=$2500, 3rd Place=$1000, 4th Place = $500 & 5thPlace=$200, the prizes are subject to change depending on the final sign-up #.
3. Each week on Wednesday by 11:00 p.m. ET, I will post a thread under the NFL tab on Pregame.com with the matchup and the spread for that week minus the Thursday night game (expect for Thanksgiving week). I will accept FIVE picks ATS from each participant under that week's thread till 1 p.m. ET on Sunday. There will be no changes allowed from the participant once selections are made.
4. Each participant will be graded on correct picks ATS with assigned value of a point, a push will be assigned .5 point, and a loss will be no point. For any COVID related games, if not played by the Tuesday of the following week, that selection will be assigned no point for neither team.
5. The last three weeks of the contest I will ask the top 5 participants to email their picks to me to avoid copying. I will respond with a confirmation after confirming your picks. The private picks will be published in the spreadsheet upon the 1:00 P.M. ET kick-off.
6. If no payment by 1 p.m. Kick-off time on September 8, 2024, the participant will be voided in the contest. For those that wants to use Packers/Eagles games on 9/6/2024, you just have to pay and make all five selections in the Week 1 thread prior to the game kick-off.
7. I will use google doc to keep track of the results and publish the weekly results in weekly selection thread. I will publish a weekly Top Ten standing in the following weekly thread.
8. Please send me your payment via "PayPal as a Friend" to [email protected], Cashapp to $fishzhang226, and Venmo @fishzhang. Do not mention gambling and in the message column please put your Pregame Name so I can trace the $100 to the correct participant. Good luck in 2024 football season.
