What can I say that hasn’t been said already?
KC will either end up the most free bet of all time or one of the biggest public bloodbaths.
I don’t think I can remember a time I seen more “wrong team is favored” chatter. Usually when you see that it’s a sign the books are getting ready to eat at the expenses of the people.
To me the main thing that sticks out this week is what we know VS what we are told. We know people love KC, go out and ask 10 random football fans who they like today chances are you are getting at least 7 on KC supporting the better QB, Coach and defense. If you are lucky enough to get 3 for SF I doubt a single one has a confident argument as to why they like SF here.
What we have been told, that apparently the books have all of this futures liability tied into the Niners. Apparently everyone bet them and nobody bet KC all year. Apparently books don’t know how to mitigate futures liability by adjusting odds throughout the season. Apparently nobody took a flyer on KC around +1000 at the start of the postseason. It’s odd I don’t believe we’ve ever had so much focus on gigantic futures liabilities.
We are told the only big bets are coming in on SF. 9/10 experts love KC, the public loves KC, but apparently not a single degenerate rich whale that bets big does. That’s odd, you would think by now someone would at least drop a fat wager on KC, but I guess not. At least that’s what the books are telling us. Guess it makes sense why the line has remained the same. Keep firing away public on KC, it’s fine, books still really want them to win since all of the big money is on SF. Sure thing.
