That is one of the more ignorant comments I've been subject to as a diehard fan of the sport. I'm uncertain of the game YOU watched, but I did, in fact, watch the 2022-23 NFC championship tilt between the Eagles and Niners.....
--Referees and the coaching staff should be downright disgusted with themselves...I mean, REALLY folks?! The adjective "PITIFUL" is definitely used appropriately in this particular context. That, my friends, is what we correctly and unabashedly
define as "flagrant ineptitude." There is ABSOLUTELY NO EXCUSE for severely tainting their collective "expertise." Moreover, everyone's supposed "commitment to excellence" was never on display (not ONCE) during the "intriguing" matchup.... Had the correct call been made, the Eagles would have turned the ball over on downs...the ENTIRE GAME would have been put on a MUCH DIFFERENT trajectory. Never had peeps wanted to hear the words, "INCOMPLETE PASS" so badly (there should have been no catch, no points, no momentum, and Niners secured possession 1st and ten). The Eagles received the absolute greatest "gifts" throughout the entire game.
--The stats don't lie...no turnovers, had no choice but to be compelled to play the FREAKIN' FOURTH-STRING QB!!!! No one on planet earth could even begin to make this stuff up, and not even the most creative among us could ever envision this kind of scenario coming to fruition. Unbelievable, I tell ya...
Please take a hard look at the game flow, stats, etc at different points in time. The Niner D was solid throughout and was MUCH MORE THAN GOOD ENOUGH to have emerged victorious. Let's not insult the intelligence of people who are always objective, know the game and are diehard fans of the game. Most have no particular rooting interest, and will always be decent, respectful, honest, understanding, and passionate about the sport. Tell me....do you actually think the b/u QB Minchshew(sp) could have won this game (assuming the Niners had a healthy Purdy)??!!?! If we're being honest, we know FULL WELL the answer to that particular query.....shoot, I don't even know whether the b/u to the b/u to the b/u QB (Johnson?) could be a solid starter for an average NCAA team.... BTW, does Philly even have a FOURTH-STRING QB?!?! Wowsers......
Folks, let's be clear, honest, objective, etc, so we can communicate freely and intelligently, which would help us to ultimately "get somewhere," yes???
Conversely, had things been different and the tables turned, there would be NO WAY THE EAGLES' FOURTH-STRING QB dispose of that talented Niners club. So, obnoxious Philly fans, let's refrain from annointing this team as anything but a good and lucky team...
