Week 12 Plays:
#1: Buffalo Bills -6
Emmanuel Sanders revenge game is here!! All joking aside, the key to this one is which team is going to do a better job regrouping after the spanking each received on Sunday. After Buffalo’s first loss of the year, they shut out Miami 35-0 on the road the following week. After their second loss of the year, they dominated the Dolphins again winning 26-11. After their third loss, they smashed the Jets 45-17 on the road. Sure the Saints are a ‘better’ overall team than Miami and definitely much better than the Jets….but as currently constructed are they significantly better? The current line doesn’t seem to think so as the Saints aren’t getting much respect. Well, Kamara is again out, Ingram is playing hurt, they lost another offensive-lineman (Ramczyk is out), and their TE Adam Trautman is now on IR (he was targeted 27 times over the last 4 games, so this is a pretty substantial loss). Throw in the fact that one of their key D-linemen is out (Marcus Davenport) as well, and injuries are overall a major issue in this one. Maybe the Bills can make it four-in-a-row in terms of dominating a game in a ‘bounce-back’ spot after all. Siemian has been regressing and now gets to face the #1 pass-D of the Bills. Buffalo has a big divisional game against New England at home next week, but this team can’t be looking ahead after such an embarrassing showing against the Colts last week. Plus at 6-4, they’re not good enough (record wise) to be ‘looking ahead’ in any spots right now. I’m simply backing a stronger and healthier team in this one. Even if Saints D plays really well and keeps NO in the game, I’d imagine the Bills will do enough offensively to win this one by a tuddy, as I simply don’t see how this Siemian-led offense can move the ball effectively in this one.
Good Luck and Happy Turkey Day Pregamers!!!
