Miami Dolphins' Matt Breida: Explosive, flashy, in line for more touches
Week 1 0/0 r/t 0 yds @ NE snap count 23%
Week 2 1/2 2 yds @BUF snap count 23%
Week3 0/0 0 yds @JAC snap count 18%
Week 4 3/3 39 yds @SEA snap count 24%
Week 5 1/1 31 yds @ SF snap count 32%
Miami has been slow to work in Breida who Miami got in a trade this season with SF. Jordan Howard, a 2020 FA signing, has been more of a goal line specialist, was inactive in week 5 and wasn't able to beat out Myles Gaskin for RB #1. Neither did Breida, but he appears to be the clear #2 RB. He's considered a good receiving RB as is Gaskin. Gaskin has done well enough to keep the #1 position, but hasn't blown the doors off. Team has been talking about getting Breida more involved (see above article) and you can see that in the snap count increases. I'm expecting another snap count above 30% and 2/3 targets, but it would only take one to get over that low total.
