Just got back from the casino again. Ya talked me into taking the Ravens at -9 1/2. Actually the injury report did the trick. I also took a them in a parlay with the OV at 46 1/2. I went there due to reading the latest injury report, and wanted to get the Jags at +3 1/2 before it went down, as I think it will. Here's what I read:
It's unclear if D.J. Chark and Josh Allen will play, but there's plenty of great news for the Jaguars, as Myles Jack and C.J. Henderson are no longer on the injury report. This is huge, as their defense fell apart beginning in the second half of the Week 4 loss to Cincinnati when both were taken off the field. Meanwhile, the Lions once again have a block injury at cornerback with Desmond Trufant and Justin Coleman sidelined. The Jaguar receiving corps, even without Chark, is talented and can take advantage of this.
I also took a ml parlay on the Jags and Redskins, along with a parlay with both of them at +3.
The injury report for the Colts/Bengals doesn't look too good either. Need to get lucky for the Colts to cover the big number.
Done for the week, unless I break a habit and wager on one or both of the Monday night games, or should I say early afternoon and late afternoon here. I told you about the Happy Hour that I use to play, always taking a Monday game in case I want to hedge if I get that far. Usually take one college and one pro. My 5 college and one Monday night pro went 4 colleges won and covered, the 5th, WVa had to win by 23. They won by 21. Ouch. That cost me a bunch as I had the Steelers at -3 and this puppy pays 52 for one for $20. An easy $500 win if I hedge. Ouch. I don't know why, but I'm usually pretty lucky with these. I have a 7 teamer for tomorrow/Monday with all the teams I've mentioned. Only for $10 as it pays 105 for 1. This one I have the Chiefs at -3 1/2. They are now -4 1/2 so for -120 I can take the Bills for +5 and have a middle of 4 and a win and push at 5, or a win with one or the other team.
Good luck with all your picks.
