A couple of actual thoughts...would love to hear rebuttals and other ideas.
- Traditional key numbers (3, 7, 10, 6, etc) will shift (3, 8, 11, 6, 14, 2?), and some may be even more key in the AAF because the scoring field is "leveled", meaning there aren't as many variations in the way of scoring points through elimination of extra points. 3, 6, 14, and 2 stick out.
- The change to OT rules increases the likelihood that games end in tie. The "leveling" of the scoring field adds to this, as well.
- The real-time player stats are interesting, not from an in-game betting angle (to me), but more from the information that might become available on how the players are actually moving on the field.
