Now I’ll have to start thinking about who to back in the Super Bowl – upon further review, I believe not all that much thought is required here, and there is no need to listen to two weeks of endless detailed analysis by “talking heads’ on sport networks analyzing the upcoming game to death, or agonize for two full weeks over how to play the game, with the worst mistake likely being to “over-think” this. The HUGE Super Bowl EXPERIENCE EDGE of the “Killer Bs” (Brady and Belicek), compared to Ram players and coaches being a bunch of “newbies” in the Super Bowl, is perhaps the most telling factor (more so than the fact that the Rams would not even BE in the Super Bowl but for the blown pass interference non-call and Peyton’s “brain cramps” prior to Rams game winning FG), and likely the reason why the Pats almost immediately shot up from Pick ’em to -2. That being the case, and not wanting to get “burned” by a 1 point Pats win, I’ve already placed my initial two bets on the game (see below):
NE (-125/ML), risking $75 to win $60
Teaser on NE and the Over, taking 6.5 points, thereby moving NE to +4.5, and the Over down to 51, risking $52 to win $40
