Hello all,
Let's start posting picks here. I will use a mock $1,000 to start.
Philadelphia ML @ -114 (graded at Pinnacle) - Risk: $50 Win: $43.85
A three key factors for me tonight:
- Eagles play out of '12' personnel, 37% of the time - Giants defense struggles vs. '12' personnel, yielding a 54% success rate vs. all plays, more specifically 62% success rate vs. passes, a 116.2 passer rating and 11.2 yards per attempt. One step deeper, Giants defense yields over 9 yards per attempt to TE, 25th in the league. The combination of TE Ertz and Goedert has the ability to exploit this Giants defense.
- NY Giants defense is 23rd in the league vs. short passes (less than 15 yards). Wentz throws 83% short on all down.
- Who is playing RT for the Giants? Undrafted Chad Wheeler? Maybe not, he injured his hand last week. If he is a 'go', that is still a problem, that is made worse by the fact, the Giants lack depth at TE, that could have provided him support. Engram is out, and Rhett Ellison is not a 100%, that leaves 3rd string Scott Simonson, who accordingly to PFF has a 41.7 score in pass blocking. The Eagles could be getting to Eli often tonight.
