NFL is a business as we all know. Jordy Nelson was an outstanding Packer, but anyone who watched him last season would see he's washed up. He was one of the most ineffective wide receivers in the NFL last season and only part of it was due to Brett Hundley.
Most important, the Packers have moved on from the Ted Thompson era where they are now active - like they absolutely have to be - in the free agent market signing Graham and Wilkerson. Both good moves.
Graham probably isn't going to be the stud he was with the Saints, but he'll be relavent again with Rodgers. Wilkerson gives the Packers an above average defensive line now and he'll play hard for Pettine.
If the Packers can now come up with a cornerback, linebacker/pass rusher, wide receiver and offensive lineman through free agency and the draft they will be back to being a serious Super Bowl contender.
Just too bad McCarthy still is the coach because he's very mediocre.
