Considering that the passing game for the Cowboys is average at best and the O-line pretty much runs the offense.....I'd say he is worth 1 to 1.5 points....1,653 yards and 15 TD's is hard to replace with a has been RB like Darren McFadden....He accounted for roughly 80% of the yards on the ground and had a +1.3ypr over the next rusher....Plus he had 1 Rec TD and 363 yds in the passing game....which is about 10% of the passing game...It's tough to replace almost 2,000 yards and 16 TD's...He accounted for 16 of the teams 49 touchdowns on offense....Only worth a half pt ?
Agreed. The Cowboys lost Ronald Leary, Doug Free on the OLine. Tyron Smith is dealing with an injury. They still have a strong Oline, but you can't just replace a top 3 RB in the NFL with an average player and say it does not matter. Zeke is a dynamite runner who defenses respecy far more then McFadden, he is way better in the passing game and is a plus pass protector. He's a player every defense in the NFL identifies in gameplanning as a player they need to stop, while the Dallas backup running backs don't do that. Dallas' running game should stay respectable but it's definitely a blow. I'd say a point is fair.
