Appreciate some of the feedback on the AFC east.. will try to do one of these a day, but that's not a guarantee fellas, Lol.
Pittsburgh RJ Bells (Steelers, Lol!)
Strength= Entire offense: I could not choose between the teams rushing and passing offense. The Steelers obviously have the leagues most patient, and maybe the leagues most complete running back, Leveon Bell. They also have one of the most talented pass catching corps. Martavis Bryant has a pro bowl ceiling, and his projected availability gives the Steelers another dimension to this offense. Juju Smith Schuster and Eli Rogers are solid slot options for this offense, and we obviously all know how good Antonio Brown is. The Steelers also have one of the leagues most underrated and solid offensive lines, and they should do right by extending LT Alejandro Villeneuva.
Weakness= Cornerback: Edge rusher was a consideration, but the Steelers hope TJ Watt will be a longterm bookend rusher to Bud Dupree. Artie Burns has potential as a second year first round pick, but the Steelers only gave Ross Cockrell the lowest restricted free agent tender possible. If this team wants to be able to keep up with the Patriots, they need to be able to play tight man coverage, especially if their pass rush is far from elite.
Cincinnati Bengals
Strength= Offensive Playmakers: Joe Mixon has David Johnson/LeVeon Bell potential. He is a dynamic pass catching running back, and tough in between the tackles runner. AJ Green is one of the leagues best wideouts, and John Ross is a lid lifting pass catcher opposite him. Tyler Eifert is one of the leagues best red zone weapons. Andy Dalton has the best playmaking core that he’s ever had in Cincinnati, and that’s saying something
Weakness= Offensive Line: In one offseason, the Bengals have went from a formidable offensive line to one of the leagues worst. Losing Andrew Whitworth and Kevin Zeitler were devastating losses to this line. The Bengals will try to overcome this by likely employing a short passing game. Teams will likely be playing a lot of two deep coverage against them to guard against the dominant pass catchers the Bengals have.
Baltimore Ravens
Strength= Secondary: The Ravense had a dominant run defense last year, and I could have selected that, but the secondary has the potential to be very solid this season as well. They possess one of the leagues best safety duos in free agent signing Tony Jefferson and veteran Eric Weddle. Jimmy Smith has the potential to be one of the leagues top corners, and Brandon Carr was brought in from Dallas in free agency. The team also spent their first round pick on boundary cornerback Marlon Humphrey.
Weakness= Offensive Line: The Ravens lost C Jeremy Zuttah and RT Ricky Wagner in free agency. The team is good shape at LT and RG, but they need help at the other positions.
Cleveland Browns
Strength= Offensive Line: The Browns quietly have one of the leagues best offensive lines. Joe Thomas and Kevin Zeitler are probably the league’s best left side duo. The team signed underrated C J.C. Tretter, and have a solid RG in Joel Bitino.
Weakness= Quarterback: The Browns also have some major needs on defense, especially in the secondary, and they have been a push over in run defense for years. Deshone Kizer’s own college coach said he is not ready to play in the NFL. Cody Kessler is likely a career backup, and Brock Osweiller is Brock Osweiller. The Browns will be heavily scouting next years projected strong quarterback draft class.
