Interested to know what you think when there are conflicting trends? Stay away? Is one more relevant?

When trends conflict, I recommend one of two things.  Move on to the next game or perform further research; investigating the timeliness, average margin recent results etc.  Performing serious research in an effort to consistently win money betting on sports is a lot of work.  Sorting out conflicting trends is not easy, but it is definitely worth the effort.
