Yesterday was very hot…but I was enjoying the AC in my car as I drove around the island…I had something to do in beautiful Hana and ended up driving around the backside of the island…I easily put on a hundred plus miles yesterday…I got home exhausted and one of my ears had a hard time adjusting to the pressure…but it finally popped in the evening…
As you drive around the island…you go from sea level up and down elevation ranging in up to a thousand feet…and when you drive through the back side you end up in Kula where the elevation is 3000+ feet above sea level…
I went from sunny hot weather to rain and slightly foggy conditions yesterday…
And with my lingering sinus congestion it was pretty horrible for my ears…I could pop my right ear easily…but the left one was the problem…
Luckily the views were spectacular…and most of the waterfalls were flowing…
