I put the same amount on each bet. I do not vary.
Plays
Raptors -8 (WIN)
-----The Raptors who have been playing very well get the suns the first game out of the break in Toronto. The suns have injuries to Ayton, Baynes, and Saric, Kaminsky is INACT. Ayton may play and that might change my play. Toronto is going to be without Powell and Gasol but they still have a very good team without these players and have played well when these 2 were previously injured. I look for Anunoby, Lowry, Vanvleet,Siakam, and Ibaka to do enough damage on their own to cover this spread at home and win by double digits.
Celtics -7.5(WIN)
-----This isn't going to be some secret intuitive nuclear bombshell of a reasoning, Towns is out. Wiggins would usually step up a little in his absence but he is gone. D-Lo is going to do exactly what he did in GS and shoot the ball a lot in this one. Other than D-Lo the next leading scorer is Culver with 9 points a game... This might be close at the half but Boston is a good second half team and i think they will pull away.
Jazz -7(LOSS)
-----Derozan is out (He is the Spurs leading scorer) I like the nucleus that the spurs have with white, murray, mills, and Lonnie Walker who i think will develop into an all-star caliber player. But as these guys will develop, Utah is already developed. Even without Conley they have Mitchell, Gobert, Clarkson, and Bogdanovic. The Spurs won the previous game but the will be missing Derozan's 38 pts, 5 reb's, and 5 assists. Granted they will have Aldridge for this one but I don't think that helps with Gobert in the middle. Also i don't see the Spurs shooting 56% like they did in the first game and they still only won by 7 at home.
Pelicans -5.5(WIN)
-----This one is also bolstered by the fact that Lillard is OUT for this game. The Pelicans have won all 3 games this season, and that was with Lillard. The big difference maker in this game is this simple fact Ariza is going to guard either Zion or Ingram and that leaves the other one to be guarded by Melo......To much offensive firepower for the trailblazers missing their leader.
My views on the other games (4-0 yesterday including the over)
Cavs +6(WIN)
-----Bryant is out and Mahinmi is a GTD. This is not a good thing if you are about to face Love and Drummond, oh and don't forget about Thompson and Nance Jr. on the bench. Beal and the rest of the Wizards are going to have to shoot the ball very well from deep tonight in order to cover this game. Luckily with the Wizards they have the players that can do that which is why this is a no bet for me.
Mavs -4.5(WIN
----- The only reason i lean towards the Mavs in this game is the fact that its the first game out of the break. Orlando has the defense and the slow play to keep themselves in this game.
Knicks +7(LOSS)...by 1 point
-----The Knicks have played the Pacers very well this season so far. They have lost by 1 and won by 7, that would make me lean towards the Knicks as a pretty strong play but the Knicks are without Morris Sr. who was their leading scorer in both the previous games. I think Vegas is putting to much into the fact that oladipo is back but they probably know a little more about it than me. I like Randle to have a big game tonight but i don't know if it is enough to overcome a healthy pacers team and missing their best scorer.
Nuggets/Thunder under 216(WIN)
-----I can't pick a side in this one because Nuggets are missing Porter, Barton, and Plumlee. They won the first meeting in Denver in a close game and i think the Thunder bench and the Nuggets bench will have trouble scoring points while the starters are out. If i had to pick a side it would be the thunder because they are at home and play well there. But since i don't have to pick a side i won't.
Lakers -11(WIN)
-----First game out of the break for the Lakers against a team that played a high scoring game last night in which they almost came back and put it into overtime. I think the Grizz will be just tired enough to not be able to hang with a Lakers team that wants to get things started the right way tonight.
