76ers at Bucks
Current Line / Bucks -9 & 227
What do we know about the 76ers this season. Well we know they are about the 14th best team in the league according to the records. We also know they stink on the road and now make a 4 straight road game. The last time these teams played, the 76ers won by 12 points. The big key in the last game was the fact that Giannis was rather limited with his shooting. Just 8-27 and that really hurt the bucks in that game. Plus the Bucks had to play without Bledsoe and the 76ers had Josh Richardson in that game. Richardson played well and Bledsoe’s backup DiVincenzo/Mathews did very little. So we have some things we can work with now. The first thing I notice is what has Giannis done against Philly besides this most recent game. Last year Giannis has 45pts+13reb+6Ast, then again 52pts+16reb+7ast…We can even go back to first game of last season and Giannis had a triple double with 32,18,10. So it’s clear to me that he had a bad game against Philly in the most recent contest. That 8-27 won’t happen again tonight. What is the difference with Bledsoe and Richardson. My gut says that shows up here for this game. Bucks run so much smoother when Bledsoe is on the floor. I say this shows up as well. Philly without Richardson on the floor is a team that struggles with mojo. Not to mention the Philly bench has been terrible this season. 76ers will be on a B2B here and they play at home Vs. Memphis tomorrow. I think Philly might be looking to finally get home and play a team in which they can beat. Bucks are rested and I can’t find anything that says Philly is the play tonight. This line is high and it makes sense to me. I wonder if it’s high enough. 76ers getting double digits might draw a ton of money on them because it’s double digits. This line looks safe for the bookies I believe. The ticket count and cash on this game is 92/80 for the Bucks. That’s telling because if Philly was being backed by the sharps, the line would be more like 50/50. So it looks like the sharps/public are on the same side. 76ers last 3 games on the road. Loss by 10 to ATL. Loss by 21 to BOS. Loss by 31 to MIA. This smells like a bad trend for them right now. Bucks by 40?...Well that’s a bit extreme, but what do we have that says take the 76ers?...Nothing that I can see situation or stat wise. My gut says the 76ers better be redhot or the Bucks are going to run them out of the gym before the 4th qtr even starts. I can see a Bucks 127-103 rout.
