524 Magic -3 over Hornets
With one game left to be played before the all star break and Charlotte being the host city and having Kemba Walker be the representative of the hometown team I’m not sure how focused they’ll be for this game with a Magic team that’s red hot right now. The Magic are 4-1 straight up and ATS in their last 5 games with a average margin of victory of 13 points/game with a big win over the number 1 seeded Bucks. The Hornets are 2-3 straight up and ATS in their last 5 games and they faced a playoff team in the Pacers and a borderline playoff team in the Clippers over that span of games. The Hornets are also a horrible team on the road with a 8-20 record losing games by an average of 5 points/game. Nikola Vucevic has been great all year and earned an all star spot, Aaron Gordon is solid when his game is on but the one player that’s been a big contributor over these last 5 games is 2017 6th pick in the draft Jonathan Isaac. Albeit a small sample size, over these last 5 games Isaac is playing 29MPG and averaging 15.4PPG 5.2RPG on 48.3% from the field with a +/- of 13 and a +20 net rating and with a matchup with the 1st seeded Bucks Isaac had 17 points 6 rebounds on 58% from the field 50% from the 3 and a +/- of 16 against 1st time all star Khris Middleton which is pretty impressive so Isaac maybe showing some promise since being drafted. The favorite is 10-1 ATS in the last 11 meetings.
