574 Pacers +4 over 76ers
The Pacers are one of the teams playing well that many aren’t talking about and have one of the top defenses in the league. They got their best player back (Oladipo) last game against the Bucks and they beat the Bucks by 16 as a underdog and I don’t see them letting that win go to their heads as they’re 3-2 ATS off an upset win as a underdog. Myles Turner has took his game to another level for the Pacers recently and both ends of the floor and I think he is a big reason why the Pacers are playing so well defensively because his ability to alter shots at the rim and rebound. The Sixers have been playing well since the Jimmy Butler trade but they seem to still be figuring things out because if Embiid’s latest comments and their recent loss to the Nets at home with Jimmy Butler sitting out. The Pacers are fully healthy now and I look for them to finish out the month strong and continue playing well.
582 Kings +7.5 over Warriors
The Kings are in the playoff mix and they will be motivated at home getting the defending champs in their building on a Friday night. The Warriors have had 3 blowout losses at home in the first quarter of the season and I’m not sure how engaged they are for the regular season so this could be a flat spot for them as they might not take the Kings serious with Memphis next up on the schedule but they should. In their first matchup against the Kings, the Warriors as a 6 point home favorite managed to get a one point victory after trailing by 4 at halftime so the Kings will be in this game and have a shot to win it late. The Kings are 4-1 straight up and ATS in The their last 5 games with a point differential of +11 and averaging 119 points/game. The Kings are also 5-1 straight up and ATS for the month of December, 9-5 ATS in revenge spots and 7-3 ATS off a upset win as a underdog.
