Watching the Warriors play in game 4 was painful to watch. Laziness on both ends, turnovers, not moving without the ball, no ball movement, not attacking the rim, settling for jumpers, no team cohesion...
While watching I was thinking, I am going to hammer Warriors next game even if they're laying double digits...
Well here we are, and having another day to dwell on it, I'm not as convinced as I originally was that the Warriors can "flip that switch" whenever they want. Those eyesores from game 4 could be a blip, or they could be an arrogant chink in the armor. The Warriors were down 14 at half while having a 20 rebound advantage!! (Anomaly? Perhaps.)
With a 3-1 series advantage and no real chance that the Spurs win 4 straight, I don't think the Warriors have a sense of urgency and may even brush off their poor performance in game 4 (leading to another mediocre at best performance) rather than coming in re-focused. If the Spurs cover the 11, they should be competing for an outright win so I can see a moneyline play here being more sensible than one may think.
If there's one thing I can guarantee about the Spurs is that they will play as a cohesive unit, and I don't expect the Warriors to fix all of those game 4 issues by the end of the 1st half in game 5. In this spot, I'll take the team that is guaranteed to come in with a sense of urgency and cohesion
I'm going for the Spurs trifecta, 1h +6, +11 game, dabble +700 on moneyline.
