Last night reminded me of why I don't play Sunday games - I've never won and the books almost always seem to sweep the tickets off the table. We pushed on two 1H over 82 bets - indicating the markets have caught up to the recent over trend in WNBA, at least for the 1H. For whatever reason, things just don't go as they are supposed to in Sunday WNBA games.
Although Taurasi set the scoring record in the WNBA, she continues to bring the overall scoring potential of the Mercury down - she just doesn't shoot like she used to. A big part of the LA Sparks setting the record for highest scoring in a 1Q was the fact that the Mercury were missing Danielle Robinson. What used to be a good defensive team in the Mercury is struggling without Robinson. I personally will not be playing the Mercury games until I see a turn around. Perhaps a ticket on opposing TT over in future games.
The Mystics absolutely pooped their pants at the end of a game they should have won and covered. Another tough break for the public (and loss of a parlay for us). Dallas continues to shoot better in games during the 2H, as they shot just 38% in the 1H. This game did, however, help bolster the UNDER trend for games played before 3:00 EST - improving it to 11-3 over the course of the season.
No games for the next couple of days, but the San Antonio Stars face the Dallas Wings on Wednesday, game time starting at 1:00 EST. We'll see where the bookmakers set the line, but we'll be planning a strong play based on our trend and with the way Dallas has been scoring.
All plays for Wednesday will be posted here, let's keep the discussion going...
Current Totals Trend based on game time:
Games played after 6:00p EST: 27-14 to the OVER
Games played before 3:00 EST: 11-3 to the UNDER
Current SU/ATS:
Favorites overall SU: 51-14
Home favorites SU: 33-9
Away favorites SU: 18-5
Home favorites ATS: 20-20-2
Away Favorites ATS: 16-7
Today's Games:
San Antonio Stars @ Dallas Wings: Total 163.5, Dallas -7
**Game time is at 1:00 EST. This fits the script for a strong play on the UNDER 163.5, especially against San Antonio. 3 out of the only 4 Dallas games that went under were played before 3:00 EST. All other Dallas games have gone over the total. **
