It makes sense to me.

Assuming you would be trying to bet the panthers, Vegas wouldn’t want to give out low enough odds to give its bettors 2 tries at winning a bet. Those odds are saying that they want you to bet one game at a time if you are really that confident in that specific side.

Because Florida has 2 chances to wrap up the series!!!! Also these teams look to be even so all games have been around -125 to -150 fo all single games!!! I think Florida should have won all games so far!!!!

Even if you bet game 6 at -145 and lose they will be either plus or even money for game 7. That is still better value than -360 for the series. Am I right?

Put $145 to win $100
Put $110 to win $100 (GM7)

Essentially the same thing.
