They led 1 0 all game til 10m left in 3p
Their goalie stopped 5 power plays - one of them was a major
I even hit their goal scorer live
But they still somehow go to OT and lose with 17s left

The game b4 that they were tied 2 2 goin into 3p and got wiped out 2 5 in regulation to a desperate Calgary team 

They are just not a good team in the clutch. Giorgiev played lights out last time out and they still couldn't get the win. Ill never trust those **** bags again.

Mean nothing game for the Avs and the Ducks last home game.
I cashed out in the 3rd period at 85% payout up 2-0 for the Ducks.
Avs come back with 4 straight goals and win 4-2. Crazy

Hey Stephen, I absolutely agree with your analysis. Although I stayed away from the game because of the surmounting injuries with the Sharks. To add salt to the wound, include 5 more players added yesterday as questionable, 3 D and 2 C. Three days prior, the 13th you had Kostin (C) and Ferraro (D) ruled out. Not to say that the Sharks can't pull it off, I just wouldn't go to battle with a wounded squad that knows the war is over . GL Steve. Cheers!

Hey Jimmy hope you'll be posting some of your Stanley Cup plays. This final week of the regular season has been insane. I had one of my biggest bets of the year on the Kraken last night figuring the Kings wouldn't care since they just beat the Oilers to clinch home ice for their playoff series against Edmonton.

Nope, the Kraken fall behind three goals and lose by one goal. The previous game I had the Blues against the Kraken and the Kraken showed heart winning that game. Just excruciatingly painful for the mental health and of course the pocketbook.

Tossing a peanut on the Sharks here. They'll probably find a way to lose as they always do, but I'll take a small shot on them at this large of a price.

Thanks NFL Capper. BTW, Bobby Hull is my favorite hockey player of all-time. He was my hero as a child growing up in the Midwest watching the Blackhawks of the 1960's.

Likewise Stephen, he inspired me to play the game. I grew up in Barrie ON  in the early 60's ( Population 9-10,000 back then) which is about 50 odd miles north of Toronto and to this day, a big time hockey town and has a huge Bobby Hull following. The number of players that have found and continue to find their path to the NHL through the Jr.A  Barrie Colts is countless. Doug Shedden drafted by Pittsburgh was my centreman for 11 seasons.

When I played the Colts were a Jr.B team before joining the OHL in 1995. I will always remember Hull's slapshot that goalies feared and that curve in his stick that looked like a sickle. Eventually, the league banned it and limited the % of curvage allowed, lol. He was also my hero, role model, inspiration all in one. I Started playing in 1967 at the age of 6 and wore # 9 on my jersey throughout my entire career. That is a pic I took of a rookie card that I have owned for about 35-40 years. I love it.

Some great athletes are not the best people, Mickey Mantle comes to mind.
Still one of my top 5 favourite players.

Lol, yep built like a brick shit house, wouldn't have wanted to run in to him out the back door of the pub closing at 1am juiced up.

The rookie card of Hull has to be worth a lot. Hopefully it's in great condition.

It's hard to explain just how exciting it was to see Hull rush up the ice in full stride - fastest skater in the NHL - and unleash his 100 mph slap shot. It's one of my great childhood memories.

Mantle was my favorite baseball player growing up.

Unfortunately Jimmy is right. Hull and Mantle were deeply flawed human beings. I interviewed Mantle once during my sportswriting days and he was a total jerk.

But both athletes gave me a lot of pleasure watching them while growing up before innocence was lost.
