The Capitals are 31-10-5 this season and they have been playing very well in their recent games. They have won their last 4 straight games and their defense has been great as they have only allowed 2 goals in their last 4 games. They are going up against an Oilers team that is 29-14-3 this season and they have also been playing well recently, winning 4 of their last 5 games, but they are coming off of a 3-2 loss to the Canucks in their last game and now they are going to be without their best player due to a suspension. The Oilers have a very good offense, but they struggled to score in their last game without McDavid in the lineup, the Capitals have the defense to shut down this Oilers offense.
