STL BLOOZE -258

Not a huge play since STLs defense has fallen off in November. STL has faced the NHLs 3rd toughest schedule. SJS has faced the 24th hardest schedule. Despite that, STL still has better net goal margin. Tough spot for SJS.

- SJS 3rd game in 4 days
- SJS B2B road games
- STL 1 day rest, no travel this week

Offense
- STL 2.18 gpg / 2.17 Xgpg
- SJS 1.91 gpg / 2.16 Xgpg

Defense
- STL 22nd Fenwick against
- SJS 31st Fenwick against
- STL 2.6 Xgpg
- SJS 3.03 Xgpg

Volt, last two meetings between these teams went to OT and you still need to lay a -145 for STL. 4 of last 10 Sharks games have gone to OT.

Sharks running top goalie prospect tonight. Yaroslav Askarov is considered the Sharks' goaltender of the future and he will make his San Jose debut Thursday after spending the first six weeks in the AHL. Askarov was 6-3-0 with a 1.92 GAA and a .939 save percentage in nine appearances in the AHL before his recall. He will face the Blues, who are 29th in NHL scoring, averaging 2.45 goals per game.
