Yes Capper, the DUI driver was passing on the right of a vehicle that had moved over for the cyclists.

Wow Spartan, I am a dad and grandpa. Like Mega said, it would wreck me totally. So sorry for your loss and may god be with you, I can't imagine... As far as that driver that hit those boys, I can't put in words what I would do to him, no matter what it took to get it done, nor the consequences that "may' follow" Life is so wrong at times when you would least expect it. Now I'm PISSED....... I would like to be a independent contractor for hire, my fee would be nothing more than satisfaction for the family.

I watched that virtual hearing for that guy.

Judge looks tough. He needs to be. Minimum unfortunately is 5, and maybe 10 years maximum. Charged with vehicular homicide. Said he had a 6 pack of beer. Unreal! Gone too soon.

Told both my daughters several times don’t EVER drink and drive, call me , Uber , a taxi or a friend etc.

Sorry to hear that. Let's pray that the courts do. Not to get off subject, but here, they are also to light on sex offenders.
