Feels good to have hockey back. I'll take it easy these first couple of weeks until the 4max totals go live (after 5 games) and my rankings start (after 10 games). BOL to all the puckheads out there!

Hi Dennis,

I am curious what the plan is for the playoffs. Does your rankings continue through the playoffs as the teams play each other consecutively it would seem like it'll skew towards a team continuously in one series

Great question, LT. I use my end of the season rankings to make larger series bets throughout the playoffs. I rarely ever play single games unless I see something develop within a series that I think we can take advantage of.

"to make larger series bets throughout the playoffs' ....well that's the smart thing to do ...it's pretty obvious to some seasoned bettors ...I do it mainly in NBA + MLB ...much better to make (1) bet than (7) bets when your usually going uphill with the juice to begin with ...unless of course, like you mentioned ... you have a tremendous angle on a game where you think your getting the best of the line or prop

Thanks to Mike, 22, BAD, AWR, LT & VB for stopping by. BOL this evening.

Over the L25 games, NYR rank higher than BUF in 12/15 inputs. NYR rank in the T10 in 9/15 inputs while BUF does in just 1/15. BUF ranks in the bottom third in 9/15 inputs while NYR do in just 4/15. NYR avg rank across all inputs is 13th while BUF is 22nd. Over the L25 games, I have NYR ranked 13 spots higher (14v27). Halak should go for the Rangers and he ranks 38th (+2.0) in GSAE while BUF is giving a kid from Northeastern his first NHL start. The Rangers have already clinched a playoff spot so motivation could play a factor here but after a 2-1 loss to NJD last night, I have to think they'll be motivated to get back in the win column vs a team they've beat in 10 of the L11 meetings. Over the L5 seasons, the NYR have the best record in the league as a road fave at 39-13 for a +23.6% ROI.

Over the L25 games, LAK rank higher than SEA in 10/15 inputs. LAK rank in the T10 in 11/15 inputs while SEA does in just 3/15. SEA ranks in the bottom third in 5/15 inputs while LAK do in just 1/15. LAK avg rank across all inputs is 8th while SEA is 18th. Over the L25 games, I have LAK ranked 15 spots higher (3v18). Kings will have the edge in goal with Korpisalo ranking 11th (+14.1) in GSAE while Grubauer ranks 70th (-2.7). The Kings are 15-5 in their L20 when their line<105 while SEA is 5-15 in their L20 when their line>-150.
