Thanks to BT, Mike, Frank, AWR, Summer & Don for stopping by. BOL today.
Over the L25 games, WSH ranks higher than CBJ in 14/15 inputs. WSH ranks in the top half in 14/15 inputs while CBJ does in just 1/15. CBJ ranks in the bottom third in 12/15 inputs while WSH does in 0/15. WSH avg rank across all inputs is 9th while CBJ is 27th. Over the L25 games, I have WSH ranked 24 spots higher (6v30). If you look at L25 rankings vs season rankings, WSH is +6 and CBJ is unchanged. Based on season long data, WSH power ranking is 7.58% higher but when you look at L25 data, it's 10.47%. Not much difference in tonight's goalies with Kuemper ranking 25th and Korpisalo ranking 27th in GSAE. I do like that Kuemper has performed well vs CBJ over the years with just 18 goals conceded in 9 starts and a .939 SV%. The Caps have historically been one of the best teams in the league as a heavy favorite. In database history, WSH is 195-75 (72.2%) when their line is higher than -175 for +26.27U. Only Tampa and Minnesota have been more profitable. WSH is 13-2 in this price range over the L11 months. CBJ finds themselves in a price range that hasn't been kind to them this season. The BJs are just 1-10 this season when their line is between +130 and +185.
Washington -1/2 (-130)
ETA: Lindgren is in for Kuemper. I'm fine with that. He's allowed 3 goals or less in 12 straight starts.
