12-1 on picks in the last week of NHL, the streak has ended with the Avalanche giving up a 3-0 lead at home, at least we could get another game 7 out of this. Onto the next slate of games.
New York Rangers ML (+135); 4 goals on Raanta in game 4, they seem to have a lot of the momentum. And it's not like they lost game 1 or 2 badly. I think Raanta starts tonight to keep things familiar, but the question of who is playing goalie is enough to put a bit a doubt in the air, it will be a guy who was burned in the last two outings, or a guy fresh off of an injury dumped into the middle of a physical series. Not to mention in the other net is Shesterkin who is playing out of his mind. I don't even need to mention the horrendous Canes power play. Although the Canes have yet to lose a home game in these playoffs, gimme the Rangers tonight.
Rangers/Canes 1P Total Goals Under 1.5(-135); Series has been low on goals, especially in Raleigh. Only time this number was topped in the first was game 4, and just barely. I like this number slightly more than the under for the game, and same odds.
Oilers/Flames Total Over 6.5 Goals(-120); Back to this one, only missed this mark once in this series, going 5 goals in game 3. I think we get more of the scoring mess we saw in Calgary. I think either team could take this game, so will avoid sides here, but could see the Flames rally. The goals come in bunches in this series and this game should be another amazing one to watch, has been one hell of a series.
Good luck tonight
