Vegas Runner has publically announced his departure from Pregame.com.
On a business level, his actions violate his written agreement with us. That powerful fact is why I was skeptical of all the talk even when he started acting sketchy. This is a matter the lawyers will sort out.
On a personal note, I defended Vegas Runner from non-stop attacks regarding his honesty. The baggage from his past always follows him – but he convinced me at a personal level that he valued the transparency and customer-focus Pregame.com demands. For him to move in the opposite direction of that now – back to his old ways - makes me feel like no less than a fool.
There are weekly and month packages of Vegas Runner access that will need to be addressed . . . Customer Service understands this is a priority – email support@pregame.com and you will receive quick and personal attention.
One important takeaway from this experience is the hardening of my resolve that you can’t teach honesty and customer focus – it’s either something you believe in at your core, or it is not.
What I'm extra excited about is the chance to add replacement(s) who have a passion for the Pregame.com approach. I’ve been in talks with a number of the most-respected non-Pregame.com handicappers in the business, and I expect to be announcing multiple exciting additions in the next month or so . . .
