I would hold it up and look around saying, “Did anybody drop this chip?” I would hate for someone to lose a valuable chip and I feel a need to exercise due diligence to find the rightful owner.

Those chips are rare , so once you go to the cage it will be noticed. Since you weren't gaming with it (since you found it) I would go to another casino to cash. They can't prove when you played ,especially at another casino. That generally take other casino chips in the area. Like the strip.

This is just a rumor. But I think they have one or two cameras in each casino
