God gave man dominion over all of the animal kingdom. He gave man the wisdom and intellect to create and use firearms. Human beings are the only "species" to be able to do that.
This is probably not the answer you were looking for but at the time of this response there were no responses so I figured I'd post my thoughts on the subject.

One armed man can defeat any animal in the animal kingdom including Gorillas,Lions,Tigers and Bears.

As far as 100 unarmed men,
with todays wussified male population yes, they woundn't stand a chance IMO.
with yesteryears men they would tear it to shreds like a pack of rabid wolves

I’d have like 20 men jumping out of the trees in succession falling on his head with their feet like bombs BOOM!!! BOOM!! BOOM!!! Are the men allowed to wear combat boots or are they all naked like the Gorilla? . I‘d get  more men to  throw up, piss, and shit in bucket and throw it in the Gorilla’s face. Or is that not allowed? Would the bucket be considered a weapon or some type of an aid? They could just use their hands and throw it at him It might just piss him off more or the Gorilla might be so repulsed that he’ll run away.
