Thoughts and prayers to everyone affected. My sister, brother in law and their 3 year old lost everything as of today. Thankfully they are up here in Toronto for the extended holiday season but that’s so much memorabilia and precious stuff gone they can never get back.

Same with my sis’ father in law who had to evacuate yesterday, is a very famous actor and comedian to be unnamed but he had allllllll of his memories of his career and his late wife and what not. Same with his other son, lost everything but they are in NY currently for the holidays. 

So very very sad.

So sorry for your family's lose. I live in Glendora and can see/smell the fire, this is the worst I have ever seen. It will never be the same and take years to recover. Glad your family is ok.

BD, Just so glad to hear your family is safe but what a shame to lose everything they own. I've lived in LA most my life & this is by far is the worst fire's that I have ever seen in SO Cal. My thoughts & prayers are with your family & all the families that have been affected by these tragedies. Prayers to all.

My wife's co-workers near Westlake Village had to evacuate.

She was going to take in a family but I am recovering from a hard case of the Flu.

Three families are sharing their Gymnasium to shower and use sleeping bags.

A few days ago Olivas Park was on fire outside Ventura, and that is less than 5 miles from us. We had a door-knocker sponsored by Fire Marshall to prepare for evacuation.

We had to evacuate during the Thomas Fire and that video is still on YouTube.

Good luck to all, and may no one else be harmed by this tragedy.

Heyyy thanks everyone for the thoughts and mine go right back out there to ya. 3 kids between my sister and her brother in law lost all of their kiddy possessions. The later-in-life ptsd of that is going to be very real. So sad for everyone and love to all. Although, in “light” of it all we have to be thankful for what we still have. And also, to smile again…I want to post this funny thing and I don’t care how much shit I get for it lol…

This Pacific Palasades Fire has a lot of Vulture Capitalists getting woodys they haven't had in 60 years jerking to prospects out of the Maui playbook. I got a robo call Friday inquiring about MY home in the next county up from LA.

If you guys thought I was angry on the Everything-else Thread you should see me now.
