All due respect but the deal in Florida the guy never got off a shot before SS shot at him. He was waiting for him to get closer based on where he was and Trump was , hole on the golf course.Trump was on fourth and shooter on nbr 6 so Trump was gradually going towards him based on the layout of the course.
It’s one thing to be a good shot but under duress someone may not be a good “shot.”

Idk , golf course is a good place to hide but in Fla maybe not as much cover as where I am. I live in a neighborhood with a course and could easily walk from my house in darkness , hide in the woods and wait for daylight and my “victim “to come close enough.
I’m assuming the SS had agents checking ahead and spotted the guy , as well as checking for any issues behind where he had been
The position was near the road on the 6th hole and some bushes he could hide in , quick getaway so actually not a bad spot. On the course , mostly open and palm trees not wooded areas you would find on courses in most southern states .
Seeing a map of the course when he came down the 5th hole the shooter would most likely have had a clean shot. Trump was on #4 from what I read .
