Above and beyond the natural storm issues/flooding and all the southern coastline beaches smelling from all the fish dying because the water is so warm, the R/E market is crashing... nobody can afford it. The reason I posted this is because I know somebody that is going through it.

What is the average monthly house insurance cost on a $500K house in the Hurricane Belt in FL? You have to be a CEO/DR/DRUG DEALER/LOTTERY WINNER/TOP LAWYER/SPORT PRO/ETC. to afford it. My friend is a nurse of 28 years and she can no longer afford it.
