SpaceMan1 is back!
I will TRY to be better this time around, and the burden is on me, not others here.
Actions speak louder than any words I can type here so let's see how all this turns out....
Thanx to ZIGGYBEATS for creating this Thread.
Thanx to LANGEO for that Dedicated song. I know I participated in music-themed Posts/Threads in the past but I can't recall what/who they were about.
Just a short note here that I always was a Music fan, and did admire and respect the late, great David Bowie. I remember when this song came out and like all young children of the 60's and 70's we were mesmerized by Space and the endless possibilities.
I always admired certain Lyrics to some popular songs. I wish to point out three (3) "MOON" themed Songs' Lyrics here for today:
1. Space Oddity: " Planet Earth is Blue and there is nothing I can do". That is, imo, the Line of that Song. Sums up all the results of Human Space travel. Why are we wasting $$$ on stuff we cannot change or fix? Just a passing thought for now.
2. Arthur's Song by Christopher Cross:
"When you get caught between the moon and New York City
I know it's crazy, but it's true
If you get caught between the moon and New York City
The best that you can do (The best that you can do)
The best that you can do
Is fall in love"
I hated MTV for kicking this talented Texan to the curb just because he was overweight, shy, and not "cool". Mr. Cross has more talent in his toe jam than most others that MTV "pushed".
3. Heartlight by Neil Diamond:
Turn on your heartlight
In the middle of a young boy's dream
Don't wake me up too soon
Gonna take a ride across the moon
You and me
I lost my dog June 9, 2024 and still reeling a bit. But she would want me to move forward.
Until next time,
