Had a Disco thread before but it got too controversial and got deleted.. lets see if this one fares better lol.. here we go...

    This was a unique musical genre that came and went during the decade of the 1970’s it was unique in that it brought people together from all walks, races, social status, and sexual orientation.
    It was an amazingly fun time to be alive during the space in time that it occupied,  with its upbeat rhythm baselines and synth & social influence. It  dominated the airwaves and overall pop culture of the time and then in the blink of an eye it was gone.
    There are strains such as house music, electronic and hop hop that has this genres finger prints all over it.
    If you were old enough to remember it, loved it or hated it, you can’t deny the stranglehold it had on  mainstream music & pop culture during the early to late 70’s... feel free to spin a tune or share a thought if your old enough to remember the Disco era..(would love to know what PD, Barn, Lang, Carson  K Norm, Bone, Dough Paulie Deke and the rest of pg forum were up to during this time lol) enjoy the music and don’t forget to “have a nice day”
