As someone who battled severe lung problems that song made me cry for a number of reasons. I've taken this a sign that it's time to share something here on Pregame that I have wanted to for a long time but never have. Unfortunately, it's late here in fly over country and I need to be at my place of business in a little bit but will send a note out to Pregame Community tomorrow discussing a few topics and observations during my ten years here at Pregame. Before signing off for the night I wanted to share a song by someone who I consider to be one of the greatest of all times, Sir Raymond Davies. Originally a B side I think this song could be an anthem for many who frequent this website. First link is to Sir Ray doing it and the second link is a rocking cover of it I really like as well. 1st I didn’t know Ray Davies was knighted and 2nd that song rocked! That could definitely be my Anthem lol. Love the Kinks such groundbreaking and influential band. Their song “all day and all of the night” is credited by many as the very first punk rock song ever recorded. Glad you liked the song had the same effect on a friend of mine whos been smoking over 40 years... well its getting late now signing off thanks for sharing and sharing the music..

Ziggy I have a nice nugget to share I just don’t know how to post from YouTube , actually it’s 2 songs from the same album ,if you would be so kind to post them I’d appreciate it , The band is called Madseason , a one off supergroup so to speak with Layne Staley on vocals , Mike McCready on guitar, John Baker Saunders bass and Barret Martin drums , they only made one album and if you haven’t heard it yet it’s a must listen , outstanding album titled Above , you spoke of fighting demons and relating to those that have or are or did , this is a must have The first song is called Wake Up, you can tell Layne knew he didn’t have long to live because of his drug addiction and spills himself in this song the second song is called All Alone which has music and very few lyrics , sometimes you don’t need lyrics to express your emotions ,this song makes me want to go outside on a slightly cloudy breezy day and lay down in the grass and watch the clouds move and think about what was what is and what could be , to every music lover I suggest you listen to this album , I Love It. Shortly after this album came out Layne Staley died from a heroin overdose .

Your welcome Langeo Yea that george Harrison one always gets me his very last studio album he literally let it all out on that one..I heard “all alone” first very soothing song speaks to the heart. Reminds me alot of Led Zeppelin’s “Thank you”

Led Zeppelin is one of my favorite bands as well. When my wife and I go out to karaoke, I always sing Thank You to her , I’m no Robert Plant but I hit that song with all I’ve got and feel great doing it
