I picked up my axe today and I ended up playing this song and I rocked it out old school,
you guys would have been proud of me and listening closely. I kind of tried to make it a little Randy Rhoads meets Tony Iomi in my interpretation
Tony wrote it and he's the Master. But randy could play and rock anything and add to it beyond measure. If you though EVH was good. Randy was the man. And that's not to be construed to be anything less than absolute enjoyment of listening to Edward play the guitar. Not to take a shred of anything away from him.But there was a whole other level of shredding fire on the fret-board when Randy wanted to light it up. He was on or from another planet when it came to playing guitar. Anyhow...enough storytelling and introduction. As you listen try to imagine it a little snazzed up a little with some Rhoadesesque fills and pick scrapes in between notes.
That's how I play it. I do a little live version And try to throw in some Rhoads riffs in between the long notes and really try and rock it out and bring it to life.
The whole song is pretty simple but once you know it you can really rock it out and make it your own
And then, the ending is absolutely so fun to play. I'm serious. It just makes you want to play it over and over again. Faster and faster. More and more metal and faster.Thrash.
And the very ending is just sooooo Classic Enjoy Fellas
