This is a great story...a professional gambler as an elite Jeopardy player - now that is a dangerous combination!l for the house!
Usually contestants only are only risking $1000/$2000 on the daily doubles - Just enough to keep them in the lead if they miss....and this dude is going ALL IN.... which is truly game over if he wanted to stay conservative the rest of the way after you hit that $14k daily double and sits at $28k early!
When watch Jeopardy on TV I think - if I had their brains I would probably be going all in / they seem to get it right at least 75% of the time.now we have a guy actually doing it!
I guess a sports analogy would be - other contestants are usually playing prevent defense, or running it 3x milking clock and punting - inevitably letting the other team (contestants) back in the game. This guy just staying aggressive, throwing bombs down the field up 28-3, foot on the gas the whole time!!
