We cashed this bet the other night and I just have to run it back. Jalen Johnson is still out and Trae's role is just too good without him. He did run a little hot against the Jazz with 20 assists from 29 potentials, but a lot of his assists come at the rim which are high percentage shots.

The Suns' defense has been all over the place lately, with the 4th worst defense over their last 15 games. The 238 game total is the highest on the slate as well so it's a good environment for him.

The same write up as the other night applies: We now have a 5 games sample without JJ, and Trae has put up some ridiculous numbers averaging over 14 assists on a monster 27.5 potentials, despite only playing 30 games in one of them in a big blowout loss.
