I live an hour north of Lexington, very little rain but was initially postponed and eventually cancelled by lightning too close to the stadium. I believe they said the radius was 8 miles. Administration let fans sit in the stands for over 2 hours before kick-off with no in stadium announcements, real sh!t show. Needed Brock 31 more pass yards to hit a $700 winner, was reduced to $431 with that and UK -19 voided

Many years ago, I worked security for a MLB team. It was commonplace for a "rain delay" to last hours especially before the game. A vast majority of the time the team or league knows the game is going to be canceled or postponed.

Thats a good point. I think last year was the first year UK Athletic Director allowed beer sales at the games, so everyone on Twitter was pissed off last night because SEC rule stated beer could not be sold until the game started. They lost a lot of money. My ass would have went back out to the parking lot and drank for free lol
