I've noticed--and there are exceptions of course--that double digit spreads usually go over the total. Boston College vs SMU did not go over the 47.5 but I've used this formula in the NBA and college basketball and it usually has some merit to it.

Here's what I'm looking at:

1. Memphis vs Iowa St over 57.5 spread is +10.5/-10.5

2. Georgia vs Florida St over 44.5 spread -19

3. Wisconsin vs LSU over 55.5 spread -10

4. Liberty vs Oregon over 67 spread -18.5

5. Texas vs Washington over 63.5 (exception to the rule) spread -4

6. FCS Championship: Montana vs So. Dakota St over 49.5 spread -12.5

I have a question. Does this apply if let's say the line opened at -9 and ends up -10 Does the over apply still?

I apply it when I make the wager, but of course I double check all factors that could affect the outcome.

I am betting the Memphis over and the rest I decide if the numbers are right even with all these transfers and people sitting out. So yes game time play.
