Poor showing in college football on Saturday. My apologies for anyone that followed. Who knew that the Sunbelt would be the conference to step it up under these unique circumstances?
Miami @ Louisville -1.5 (line already moving) - Miami pounded the Cards last year in Coral Gables but everything that could go wrong, did go wrong for the Ville in that game. Their first round NFL draft choice of a left tackle got hurt early in the game and didn't return. Subsequently, their QB got hurt and left the game early in the second half. Louisville also had 3 turnovers compared to 0 for the Canes. Even with all of this, Louisville outgained Miami by approximately 50 yards for the game. Miami did improve at OC since last year but I'm a Satterfield fan and think the Cards win and cover.
App State -3.5 @ Marshall - New HC at App State got his first win under his belt over a fiesty Charlotte team. The score looked close but App State dominated the total yards and first downs. I don't think a blowout win over Eastern Kentucky does a lot to prepare Marshall for the power attack of the Mountaineers. I think App can win this by 10 or more.
