I like the idea of breaking it up as much as possible. After all, the idea is to really dig deep into the pool to help our handicapping as much as possible. Off the top of my head I think a possible way to break it down could be:
ACC + SEC = 28 teams
Big 10 + Pac 12 + ND = 27 teams
Big 12 + Mountain West + American = 34 teams
MAC + Sun Belt + Conference USA = 36 teams
It obviously wouldn't have to be exactly that. And it depends how many people want to do how many leagues. But if we had enough interest to do 4 8-owner leagues, I think that'd be pretty cool. I would be willing to even go by single conference for P5 if there was enough interest. For G5 though, I think combining at least a couple would be the way to go. At some point, I don't want to know every player on Texas State lol.
