CLEMSON just won their 4th straight game in a row beating up on a, granted, pathetic CITADEL team, 61-3. Granted, that is no great feat, however, it gave Clemson the opportunity to rest their starters for the most part. It also tells you how much deeper they are at the majority of positions, whereas South Carolina is not anywhere as deep at this overwhelming % of positions. CLEMSON has now out rushed 10 out of their last 11 opponents. CLEMSON unlike South Carolina, already has a date with Miami (Fla.) in the upcoming ACC Championship Game. That great incentive trumps any and all that South Carolina may have. South Carolina is merely playing for a nice Bowl Game bid. With a 8-3 record, South Carolina has no chance for a National Playoff bid. Clemson beat South Carolina last year 56-7. That has great meaning. The sharpest gamblers and biggest bettors, have already bet on CLEMSON -13 1/2 over South Carolina. In closing, I respectfully suggest that anyone wagering on South Carolina, "buy lots of hooks."
My predicted score: CLEMSON 32 South Carolina 15
