MOREHEAD AT SEMO
Three teams are tied atop the OVC with 4-1 records. These two and Tenn. Tech. Tech is a 6 point underdog at SIU-E today so the winner of this game has a good chance of being all alone in first at the end of the day. MSU is 8-5 ATS and 3-2 ATS in conference games. They are 3-6 in away games this year. SEMO is 9-4 ATS and 4-1 ATS in conference games. They are 7-1 in home games.
FYI for everyone. In the OVC teams travel to road games by bus not planes. Morehead has most likely been on the road since Jan. 4 and this is the last stop on a 4 game road swing. For those that don't know a snow storm hit our area of the country in the early afternoon Thursday and ended Friday night. This has been a bad time for any team to be on the road in our part of the country. Their last stop before SEMO was at Little Rock for a Thursday game. In that game MSU won 59-53 against a Little Rock team that only had 9 players available. That was one of the most painful games to watch I've seen all year. Both teams looked pretty bad. The same night SEMO was at home hosting S. Indiana and won the game 77-66. In that game SEMO's top scorer Teddy Washington was held to 8 points. That didn't matter much as three other players scored in double figures. The reason I mention that is because SEMO has multiple scoring options and doesn't just depend on one guy. This game sets up well for SEMO and I think they get another big home win.
