Here's the link to last year's thread. All details are the same.
Here are the basics:
40 beans to enter, must be in by first game tip off. All funds go back out to winners, minus officefootballpool.com fee which is $1 per entry. I keep nothing.
Scoring: Not a standard format here - scoring includes bonus points for picking upsets. For example, round 1 wins are worth 1 point. If you pick a #2 seed to win in round one, you are awarded 2 points. If you pick a #10 seed to win in round one, you are awarded 10 points.
In round 2, winners are worth 2 points. So that #2 seed win is worth 4 points. #10 seed winner is worth 20 points, etc.
Subsequent rounds are worth 4, 8, 16 and 32 points. So if your #6 seed pick wins it all, you will get 192 points for that win. The scoring essentially makes you get creative and not just fill out the chalkiest bracket. Having done it before, it's a lot of fun, has wild swings in the leaderboard and will be the most interesting Madness contest you'll be in.
