IMO, Texas Tech and others have benefited from a season of more parity than any season in years. Unfortunately for Texas Tech, IMO the parity has ended. IMO, VIRGINIA could not have asked for a softer opponent. Excellent matchup for Virginia.
You're spot on correct, Fresh. 9 different teams have won the championship in the last 12 years. That indicates parity. I remember 44 years ago when UCLA was finishing up a run where they won the championship in 10 out of 12 years. That indicates dominance. I remember John Wooden announcing his plan to retire a day before the championship game in 1975. Dave Myers made sure his coach went out in style ! I believe this is when parity started.
You need help with reading comprehension donkey, he said specifically that THIS YEAR had more parity than other years. That suggests that he thinks this year in particularly the top level teams were not much better than average teams, and that was absolutely not true. Duke or Carolina doesn't have to win it all for the top teams to be considered dominant.
