Disagree. Emotion is one thing , even a tear or two, but when you’re in the middle of the court with two teammates trying to get you off the court, drawing attention to yourself is overboard.
I boxed (not apples and oranges as Ali said to Howard Cosell , for those of you that can remember that interview) and was always emotional for those fights I loss but at the end I shook hands and went back to the locker room and then maybe cried because of my loss. Never did I embarrass myself, family, or college by standing in the middle of the ring crying.
Everyone is different and more power to you if this is your thing but don’t try and justify your short comings.
