963 NY Mets at Philadelphia
Somewhat confused by the early line movement on this one as the total opened at 8 and has been bet down to 7 1/2 on the overnight line. Sure neither of these two squads are world beaters offensively when taking into account year to date records. But the Mets are a much better hitting team outside of Citi Field and the ball flies in this stadium. Colon has had his problems with long balls on the road as he is best in large ballparks where his high flyable rate doesn't result in home runs. That's not the case here in Philadelphia. Hernandez is having a pretty good year by his standards, yet it's still the former Fausto Carmona who has a long history of mediocrity. We expect this number to go back up so let's lock in the 7 1/2's while they are still available.
